Job Overview: FMR AGENCY is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing fintech company in the cross-border payments space seeking a Senior Business Development & Partnerships Officer. This role is core to revenue growth and market expansion.
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and launch new cross-border business corridors to drive transaction volume and revenue growth; Develop and execute market entry strategies across target regions and customer segments; Drive pipeline generation, lead conversion, and revenue opportunities across B2B and institutional clients; Conduct market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning. 2. Strategic Partnerships & Channel Development: Build and manage strategic partnerships across fintechs, financial institutions, payment providers, aggregators, and ecosystem players; Develop channel partnerships to drive customer acquisition and transaction volume; Structure and negotiate commercial partnership agreements aligned with company growth objectives; Own partner lifecycle management — onboarding, engagement, performance tracking, and optimization. 3. Commercial & Revenue Growth: Drive deal sourcing, negotiation, and closure with enterprise and high-value partners; Collaborate with leadership on revenue strategy and growth targets; Track and report on partnership performance, revenue contribution, and ROI. 4. Marketing & Growth: Lead and execute growth initiatives across digital and offline channels to support acquisition and brand awareness; Oversee and manage social media presence, ensuring consistent and engaging brand communication; Drive content direction including thought leadership, product storytelling, and market education; Support campaign execution, partnerships marketing, and go-to-market initiatives; Generate insights from campaigns and user behavior to improve growth performance. 5. Brand Representation & Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, fintech forums, and networking platforms; Build strong industry relationships to enhance brand credibility and partnership opportunities.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles; Strong experience within fintech, payments, banking, FX, or cross-border financial services; Proven track record of closing partnerships, opening markets, and driving revenue growth.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles; Strong experience within fintech, payments, banking, FX, or cross-border financial services; Proven track record of closing partnerships, opening markets, and driving revenue growth.
