Job Description
Job Overview:
The Head of Operations is responsible for the efficient, secure, and compliant management of the Bank's branch operations, back-office functions, technology systems, and service delivery, with a focus on transitioning to a National MFB license.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of all branches, develop standardised operations manuals, manage back-office functions, oversee new branch openings, enforce service quality standards, handle complaints, ensure compliance with KYC/CDD, manage core banking application performance, develop technology scalability roadmap, oversee digital channels, collaborate with Risk & Compliance Officer, implement fraud prevention measures, maintain Business Continuity Plan, oversee procurement and facilities management, ensure compliance with regulations, monitor CBN circulars, build and lead operations team, provide operational input into strategic planning.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or postgraduate degree is an advantage; CIBN membership, PMP/PRINCE2, or CISA certification is an added advantage.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 7–10 years in banking or financial services operations, with at least 3–4 years in a senior operations or branch management leadership role; experience in Microfinance Bank or multi-branch deposit-taking institution preferred.

Additional Notes:
Proven track record in designing and scaling operational processes; hands-on experience with core banking systems.
