Security Officer

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Officer with a proven track record in safeguarding large premises. Skilled in conducting regular patrols, managing entry points, monitoring CCTV, and responding effectively to emergencies while maintaining a professional and secure environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain order and safety in and around the company premises; Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols; Control access points and ensure only authorized persons enter restricted areas; Verify identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors; Prevent theft, pilferage, and damage to company property; Patrol premises regularly to identify and address risks; Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or unusual activity; Enforce company security procedures and report breaches immediately; Document and report all security incidents, breaches, and hazards to the management; Conduct routine inspections of the premises, including locks, windows, and equipment, to ensure everything is secure; Greet and assist employees and visitors with a professional and friendly behavior.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of OND or SSCE; High level of personal integrity, honesty, and discipline; Prior experience in a similar role is an added advantage; Strong physical appearance with stamina for standing, patrolling, and handling security duties; Alert, reliable, and observant with good reporting skills; Able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays; Good communication skills and team spirit; Must be resident in Enugu.
