Job Overview: We’re looking for a structured and people-focused People Manager to lead our human resources and team experience function in Calabar.
Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all human resource functions including staff management and employee relations, establish and maintain a positive, high-performance team culture, define and manage team benefits, compensation structures, and staff welfare initiatives, lead hiring processes including sourcing, interviewing, and selection, coordinate staff onboarding and offboarding processes, organize and facilitate training and development programs, monitor staff conduct, performance, and compliance with company policies, manage the Calabar office space and ensure it is well-organized and functional, oversee office needs including stationery and supplies, plan and coordinate team bonding activities and company events.
Required Qualifications: Must be based in Calabar, prior experience in HR, People Operations, or administrative management, strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly organised with attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, proactive, structured, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities, experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
Additional Notes: This role requires a balance of people management, structure, and hands-on execution in a growing, fast-paced environment.
