Job Description
Job Overview:
Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger, focusing on integrated programming in Nigeria since 2010.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the definition and implementation of the country procurement strategy, coordinate market consultations, manage procurement at capital level, maintain supplier relationships, ensure quality of goods and services, and ensure compliance with procurement activities according to ACF procedures.
Required Qualifications:
At least a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Procurement or related field; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; solid knowledge of procurement processes; strong communication and negotiation skills.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Procurement or other related field.
Experience:
Three (3) years of previous experience as a procurement officer or related position; previous experience working for NGOs is an asset.
Languages:
Fluency in one or more national/regional languages is an asset.
