Job Description
Job Overview:
The Technical Operator is responsible for executing line operations, implementing cleaning regimes, and performing basic maintenance activities to ensure the safe delivery of high-quality packed products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate, control, and monitor specialized machinery and computer-controlled systems; Perform setup, calibration, and adjustments to meet production requirements; Detect and resolve deviations, malfunctions, or technical issues; Conduct checks to ensure products meet standards and specifications; Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs; Adhere strictly to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment; Record operational and maintenance data, generate reports, and maintain records; Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and technical teams to optimize performance; Continuously update technical knowledge and adapt to new technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum OND in Science/Engineering-related fields; 1–2 years in FMCG Manufacturing, preferably packaging; Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance; Skills in problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, and communication; Proven record in improving OEE and reducing downtime.
Educational Background:
OND in Science/Engineering-related fields
Experience:
1–2 years in FMCG Manufacturing, preferably packaging
