Job Overview: To implement the sales strategy within the regional environment to ensure that regional targets across the full range of products are achieved and to manage and lead the regional sales managers towards sales, distribution, and availability of MTN products.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership to the sales and distribution team in the region, ensure achievement of revenue and sales targets, drive execution of retail agenda, execute wholesale channel strategy, ensure consistent customer experience, manage field coverage, craft developmental programs for sales teams, execute sustainable channel growth strategies, and liaise with stock and inventory teams for performance reviews.
Required Qualifications: A first degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce or any Social Science degree; possession of a postgraduate degree may be an added advantage.
Educational Background: First degree in relevant fields; postgraduate degree is a plus.
Experience: 9–17 years’ work experience, including a manager track record of 3 years or more, with at least 3 years in the relevant sector or industry; sales experience in FMCG, services, or logistics; telecoms experience is advantageous.
Languages: Fluent in English and the local language is preferable.
