Collateral Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage collateral requirements, assess and mitigate financial risks, perform valuations, facilitate settlements, and oversee financial operations to ensure optimal security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of assets. Responsibilities include managing collateral records, conducting vehicle valuations, implementing vehicle tracking systems, monitoring document expirations, managing storage fees, coordinating collateral liquidation, and preparing compliance reports.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field. 3–5 years relevant experience in collateral management, recovery operations, fleet management, or risk operations. Experience within a fintech, microfinance bank, financial institution, or asset financing company is an added advantage.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience:
3–5 years relevant experience in collateral management, recovery operations, fleet management, or risk operations.

Languages:
English

Strong knowledge of collateral and asset management processes, good understanding of vehicle valuation and recovery processes, strong analytical and risk assessment skills, excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, strong reporting and documentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
