Job Overview: The DGM – Packing Plant is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of cement packing and dispatch systems. The role ensures timely, accurate, and safe packaging and delivery of cement products while maintaining high productivity, minimizing losses, and meeting customer demand.
Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of packing plant, ensure achievement of packing and dispatch targets, monitor plant KPIs, coordinate with sales and logistics teams, ensure high availability of packing machines, monitor cement stock levels, ensure adherence to safety policies, identify opportunities for process optimization, lead and develop packing plant teams, prepare and manage OPEX budgets, and manage stakeholder relationships.
Experience: 12–18 years of experience in cement manufacturing, with strong exposure to packing plant operations. Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
