Job Overview:
A structured leadership pathway for professionals ready to help build Africa’s next generation of capital, execution and impact platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Selected Fellows will participate in structured executive learning, leadership clinics, practical platform assignments and performance-based assessment. Outstanding participants may be considered for future senior leadership, assistant executive, platform management, advisory or project-specific roles within the NCDF Group ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in finance, business, economics, law, public policy, engineering, healthcare, agriculture, technology, project management, real estate, development studies or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience for management tracks. Minimum of 8–15 years’ experience for senior executive support tracks such as Assistant CEO, Assistant CFO, Assistant COO or Assistant CBO pathways. Strong written communication, analytical and reporting skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and deliver measurable outcomes. Demonstrable interest in impact investment, enterprise development, public-private partnerships, infrastructure, financial inclusion or African development. High standards of integrity, confidentiality and professional conduct.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in relevant fields.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience for management tracks. Minimum of 8–15 years’ experience for senior executive support tracks.
Languages:
Strong written communication skills required.
Additional Notes:
Preferred qualifications may include ACCA, ICAN, CFA, CPA, CIMA or MBA for finance, investment and capital-raising tracks. PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management experience for operations and execution tracks. Legal, governance, compliance or capital markets experience for regulatory and transaction-support roles. Healthcare administration, public health, hospital management or health finance experience for LifeCome Healthcare & Health Energy roles. Real estate, construction, urban development or infrastructure finance experience for Fatherland Smart Cities roles. Agribusiness, logistics, export trade, commodity value chains or digital trade experience for AfriGo roles. Fintech, banking, payments, microfinance, microinsurance or digital finance experience for Konto Financial Group roles. Diaspora investment mobilisation, investor relations, fundraising, institutional partnerships or strategic communications experience for diaspora and commercial growth tracks.
