Job Overview: The Hydraulic Systems Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, calibrating, and maintaining hydraulic systems used in heavy-duty construction equipment and industrial generator support systems.
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Diagnose hydraulic faults on heavy-duty equipment and industrial machinery. 2. Inspect, repair, overhaul, and test hydraulic pumps and motors. 3. Repair and rebuild hydraulic cylinders. 4. Diagnose and repair hydraulic control systems. 5. Fabricate and replace hydraulic hoses and fittings. 6. Support maintenance of generator-related hydraulic mechanisms. 7. Execute preventive maintenance schedules for hydraulic systems. 8. Prepare hydraulic diagnostic reports. 9. Assist workshop teams during major equipment overhauls.
Required Qualifications: HND, OND, Trade Test, or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, or Automotive Engineering.
Educational Background: Technical certification in relevant engineering fields.
Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years experience in hydraulic system maintenance, heavy-duty equipment repairs, hydraulic diagnostics and overhaul, and field service operations.

Additional Notes: Candidates with OEM hydraulic certifications, experience with electro-hydraulic systems, and knowledge of ERP or maintenance software will have an added advantage.
