Job Description
Job Overview:
A renewable energy infrastructure developer Company who grow portfolio of operating subsidiaries across energy, sovereign digital technology, manufacturing, property development, and agriculture, needs A PORTFOLIO MANAGER. It is expected that the PM monitors investments and escalates decisions, the execution authority for the portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Activating the portfolio from its current stage to operational status — on the mandate timeline. Governing the Portfolio Subsidiary to Group’s institutional standard at all times: monthly scorecards, IC, submissions, Teams channel reporting. Identifying and escalating capital risks within 72 hours of identification. Producing the board-grade decision documents that allow Group’s IC and board to make informed capital decisions. Monthly industry engagement events and filing structured relationship reports within 5 working days of each event. Build and maintain direct, productive relationships with the government ministries, agencies, and regulatory bodies. Develop and manage the portfolio’s DFI and financing institution relationships: identifying the right facilities, structuring the applications in a form that reflects Group’s governance standard. Maintaining a live, accurate capital picture at all times — what has been deployed, against what milestones, with what remaining exposure. Producing accurate, honest financial reporting. Scorecards that are self-assessed GREEN. Recommending capital reallocation or portfolio wind-down when the evidence warrants it. Establish the governance framework within the subsidiary: board composition, reporting obligations, DoA thresholds, and management accounts standards. Ensure the subsidiary’s leadership team operates to the institutional standard the Group requires.

Required Qualifications:
B.Sc Accounting, ACA/ACCA, minimum of 6 yrs experience with P&L Accountability, at least one experience of operating in a startup, an institutional turnaround, an infrastructure project or a mandate where the capital at risk was your direct accountability. Direct operational experience in the Nigerian institutional, regulatory, and commercial environment. Understanding of how government relationships, DFI processes, and sector dynamics work.

Educational Background:
B.Sc Accounting, ACA/ACCA

Experience:
Minimum of 6 years experience with P&L Accountability, at least one experience of operating in a startup, an institutional turnaround, an infrastructure project or a mandate where the capital at risk was your direct accountability.
