Job Overview: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.
Duties and Responsibilities: The nutrition outreach Nurse/Assistant will work together with the nutrition officer and other IRC sectors in implementing CMAM, outreach program, MIYCN activities and SFP in MMC and Jere, Magumeri and Konduga. Responsibilities include training and supervising community Health Volunteers, conducting outreach in hard to reach areas, ensuring program implementation according to IRC policies, managing medical supplies, and providing health education to beneficiaries.
Required Qualifications: Experience in nutrition programming and community health, strong communication skills, ability to work in challenging environments, and familiarity with health protocols.
Educational Background: Relevant degree in nursing, nutrition, or public health.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an NGO or humanitarian context is preferred.
Languages: Fluency in English and local languages is an advantage.
