Job Overview: They are seeking a visionary, regulatory-compliant leader to steer the Life Assurance division into its next phase of digital and market expansion.
Duties and Responsibilities: Drive the 3-to-5-year business plan for the Life Assurance division to maximize market share. Oversee life underwriting, claims administration, and actuarial valuation frameworks. Champion data strategies and upgrade IT infrastructure to improve customer service delivery. Accelerate retail expansion, corporate partnerships, and bancassurance channels. Ensure strict adherence to NAICOM guidelines, corporate governance codes, and local laws. Optimize investment strategies for life funds and manage the department's P&L.
Required Qualifications: Minimum 15 years in insurance, with at least 5–8 years at a senior executive level. Must be a Fellow or Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN). Must meet all NAICOM 'Fit and Proper' criteria for board-level appointment.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, or Business related course. An MBA or MSc is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum 15 years in insurance, with at least 5–8 years at a senior executive level.
