Volunteer Social Media and Content Creator

Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and grow social media pages across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and X. Produce clear, engaging captions and campaign messages. Plan content including calendars, themes, and audience alignment. Create and publish content in different formats such as posts, carousels, and short videos. Track performance using platform insights and adjust content based on results. Respond to messages, comments, and community interactions in a timely and professional manner. Manage multiple tasks within set timelines.

Required Qualifications:
Proven ability to manage and grow social media pages, strong writing skills, good understanding of content planning, experience in content creation and publishing, ability to track performance, familiarity with scheduling tools, strong organizational skills, passion for community-driven initiatives.

Additional Notes:
This is a volunteer hybrid role for people based in Port Harcourt. The role is remote from June to August and onsite during the program in August. Though this is a completely volunteer role without pay, a stipend will be provided to cover the volunteer period.
