Job Overview: The consultancy aims to support the adaptation, domestication, and validation of the national Nutrition Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Strategy for effective implementation in Borno and Yobe States, addressing specific nutrition challenges and ensuring the strategy reflects local contexts.
Duties and Responsibilities: Finalize and submit all approved and validated strategy documents, including inception report, desk review summary, draft domesticated strategies for Borno and Yobe States, validation workshop reports, and final validated strategies.
Required Qualifications: Excellent analytical thinking and strategic planning skills, ability to plan, organize and coordinate, and proficiency in written and oral English.
Educational Background: Advanced university degree in Human Nutrition, Public Health, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Food Security, Development policy, or related technical area.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of documented work experience in developing nutrition policies, strategies, programs planning, research, and guidelines, with knowledge in broader health programming and multisectoral programs.
Languages: Fluency in English is required.
