Job Overview: Seeking a proactive, hands-on Facilities Assistant to help keep our workspace safe, organized, and running smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities: Support day-to-day maintenance, coordinate repairs, manage supplies, and ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections and maintenance repairs on building systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing building infrastructure, and maintaining cleanliness of common areas.
Required Qualifications: Higher Certificate in Plumbing and/or Electrical
Experience: Previous experience in a facility's assistant role, maintenance experience in Facilities/Estates/Corporate Buildings or grounds, familiarity with health and safety regulations, and proven experience as a maintenance worker.
Additional Notes: Will be required to work on weekends and after hours, depending on operational needs. Recommendations include completed Occupational Health and Safety Course, First Aid certificate, Fire Awareness Certificate, and living within 30 minutes of the office.
