Job Overview:
The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide expert clinical leadership and deliver high-quality, urgent medical care to a diverse patient population.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide immediate and definitive medical care to critically ill and injured patients of all ages. Lead and coordinate complex resuscitation efforts. Perform a wide range of emergency procedures with a high degree of skill. Interpret diagnostic tests and make decisive decisions regarding patient admission, transfer, or discharge. Provide direct clinical supervision and guidance to junior doctors and other staff. Participate in the development and audit of clinical protocols. Lead clinical audits and quality improvement projects.
Required Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Full registration and a valid license to practice with the national medical council. Fellowship or Board Certification in Emergency Medicine from a recognized international body.
Educational Background:
Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship experience working as a specialist in Emergency Medicine. Proven experience in a high-acuity, high-volume Emergency Department setting.
Languages:
Strong communication skills in English.
Additional Notes:
Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising and training a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ethical medical practice and continuous professional development.
