Job Description
Job Overview:
Our client is a leading pan-African investment platform managing a diversified portfolio of growth equity and private equity investments across the continent. The firm is establishing a dedicated Technology vertical to manage investments across the African digital economy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the technology sector investment thesis, source deals, execute transactions, manage portfolio companies, and engage with stakeholders in the African technology ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
12–15+ years of experience in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or technology-focused investing, with a proven track record in technology investments.
Educational Background:
A strong first degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications such as MBA or CFA are advantageous.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in originating and executing technology investments, building financial models, and engaging at the board level.
Languages:
English
Additional Notes:
Regular travel across African markets is required.
