Job Overview:
Union Vega Offshore (UVO) is seeking a highly capable Operations Manager based in Nigeria to ensure the readiness, reliability, and operational excellence of UVO’s offshore fleet.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all UVO vessels are fully prepared for operations, coordinate maintenance schedules, monitor vessel performance, serve as the primary shore-side liaison for vessel captains and crew, ensure compliance with maritime regulations, assist in identifying chartering opportunities, build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in offshore marine operations, strong understanding of offshore support vessels, demonstrated experience working with captains and crew, knowledge of Nigerian maritime regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills.
Additional Notes:
Seagoing experience is a strong advantage, experience supporting chartering or commercial marine activities preferred.
