Job Overview:
The IRC is seeking a Procurement Officer to implement procurement plans and strategies for the BHA project in Northwest Nigeria, ensuring compliance with donor standards and effective supplier management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing procurement plans, managing contracts, supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations. Duties include processing purchase requests, conducting market analyses, managing supplier relationships, and implementing corrective action plans for procurement deviations.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years working experience in Supply Chain management, with a diploma or degree in a relevant field. Competency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems are required.
Educational Background:
Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
Experience:
At least three (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain management.
Additional Notes:
The position is based in a volatile environment, requiring readiness to work under challenging conditions.
