Job Overview: The Nutrition Assistant will be responsible for all USG/OHA projects in his/her Local Government Area, overseeing nutrition activities for IRC supported OTPs.
Duties and Responsibilities: Support planning and implementing project activities, track performance, ensure quality treatment of malnutrition, supervise patient management, monitor vital signs, conduct periodic analysis, provide capacity building, support data collection, and collaborate with other sectors.
Required Qualifications: Registration with a professional body/council in Nigeria.
Educational Background: BNSC, BSc or Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery/Nutrition/Health Education with strong nutrition background.
Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in managing and implementing Nutrition programs OTP.
Languages: Ability to work with displaced communities with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Additional Notes: Flexible, diplomatic, and able to lead a team. Good in using Microsoft package.
