Job Overview: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Owerri for a Human Resource Officer. The role involves supporting recruitment activities, facilitating training programs, managing employee performance systems, and handling HR administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Human Resource Officer will also play an integral role in developing and implementing HR policies, resolving employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational standards. Collaboration with different departments to align HR activities with the company’s strategic goals will be a key responsibility.
Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Onboarding; Experience with Training, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement; Knowledge of HR Policies, Business Process Design, and Compliance; Strong Administrative, Organizational Restructuring, and Reporting skills; Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Experience: Relevant certifications in HR or Leadership (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus; Familiarity with labor laws and regulations in Nigeria is an advantage.
