Job Overview:
ValorAfrica BioIndustry LTD specializes in Agro-Sustainability and Bio-based Valorization, producing innovative products such as pharmaceutical-grade snail mucous filtrate, snail mucous extractors, and Black Soldier Fly (BSF) derivatives. Our products serve various industries, including Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Agriculture, and Plastics. We are dedicated to sustainable practices and technological advancements, creating impactful solutions for diverse markets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate product development of products of interest, finalization of formula and release of products. Prepare product development objectives and schedules with external partners for all phases of product development and introduction to market. Manage field testing of products with partners and pursue step-wise improvement of products before market launch. Perform analytical and physical quality tests. Manage day-to-day product manufacturing with team members.
Required Qualifications:
At least bachelors or HND qualification in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry or related. At least 2 years of experience in formulation. Ability to formulate, create/develop new products introduced to the market. Knowledge of FDA rules and regulation for formulation. Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with teams, present findings, and effectively share insights and product strategies.
Educational Background:
At least bachelors or HND qualification in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry or related.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in formulation.

Additional Notes:
Ability to carry out studies and tests using a Microscope is a distinctive advantage. Knowledge in amino acid, protein and GCMS test analysis. Knowledge in Refluxing and/or Electrophoresis is a unique advantage.
