Motion Graphic Designer

Job Overview:
TEDxMaitama is a platform dedicated to amplifying ideas worth spreading, bringing together Africa’s brightest minds, creators, and leaders to inspire action and drive impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for social media campaigns, speaker announcements, event promotions and trailers, post-event highlight videos, design animated assets for LED screens and live event visuals, collaborate with the content, media, and design teams to develop creative concepts, translate ideas and scripts into engaging visual storytelling formats, ensure all motion designs align with TEDx brand guidelines, optimize content for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), work within tight timelines and deliver high-quality outputs consistently.

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in motion graphics and animation, proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator / Photoshop, strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition, ability to interpret creative briefs and execute independently, experience creating content for social media and digital campaigns, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
