Job Description
Job Overview:
GAIN is seeking to recruit Finance and Administrative Assistants to support the successful operations management of field programme activities in accordance with Global policies and Nigeria laws.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for handling all payment processing, petty cash and posting of payments including documenting resources and transactions. Process all employee/consultant claims for travel-related and other expenses ensuring they are liquidated within the approved timelines. Ensure documentation accuracy and that all requests are in line with policies and procedures. Support the coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Finance Coordinator with preparation of accurate financial donor reports and auditing. Keep accurate records for all daily transactions while supporting the operations team in providing statutory reports to the manager. Create uploads on internet banking, compiling all requests for cash disbursements, and ensuring appropriate supporting documents are provided. Ensure filing of all financial documents accurately for easy retrieval. Safeguard internal control procedures and ensure that accounting standards are met and facilitate required approvals. Provide general administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth field office operations. Manage office supplies, equipment, and service contracts, ensuring availability and functionality. Support office meetings and event arrangements, including logistics, documentation, and minutes. Support standard project management in accordance with the GAIN guidelines. Responsible for collecting, managing and reviewing supporting documents.

Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in finance and accounting within an administrative support role, including bookkeeping, processing staff payments and payment runs, reporting, compliance, and audit support. Experience managing petty cash and overseeing finance office activities is essential, with prior experience in an international NGO considered an advantage.

Additional Notes:
The starting gross salary on offer for this role is from NGN 8,374,596 gross per annum, depending on experience. All positions are based in one or more of GAIN's designated offices. Successful candidates must have the existing right to live and work within a reasonably commutable distance of the relevant city/cities. GAIN does not sponsor working visas and relocations.
