Job Overview: To measure the network indicators and provide NWG with data/information. To evaluate trends in network performance and recommend solutions to optimize network performance.
Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and evaluate multi vendor Radio Access Network (RAN) performance to ensure KPI stability, service continuity, and optimal end user experience. Maintain detailed cluster and site level performance awareness to support proactive performance management and informed management feedback. Detect network degradations and coordinate escalation and resolution with Managed Services Vendors, Operations, Optimization, and Field teams within agreed SLAs. Perform advanced RAN troubleshooting and root cause analysis using KPIs, drive test results, logs, and feature/parameter correlation. Recommend, implement, and validate parameter and feature optimization actions, including special event and mass event optimization activities. Support pre and post change performance validation for network changes such as upgrades, swaps, refarming, new site integrations, and feature activations. Generate RAN statistical analyses, dashboards, and performance reports that highlight trends, risks, and actionable improvement areas. Conduct radio audits, benchmarking, and performance assessments, including Umlaut/P3 exercises and regulatory validation support. Review and critically analyze MSOP and weekly optimization reports, providing feedback on SLA compliance, KPI performance, and action effectiveness. Identify capacity and coverage issues, including congestion hotspots, and provide performance driven inputs to Planning teams for expansion prioritization. Monitor and ensure consistency and accuracy of performance data across OSS and reporting tools. Support automation, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency of RAN performance monitoring and optimization processes. Contribute to the development and improvement of NPO RAN processes, tools, documentation, and best practice playbooks. Support performance readiness, trials, and acceptance validation for introduction or evolution of new network technologies and features.
Required Qualifications: Fluent in English
Educational Background: First degree in Electrical Electronics or Computer Science
Experience: 3-7 years’ experience which includes a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with technical experience in 2G/3G/4G/5G radio access network with a telecom vendor or wireless telecom operator. Experience working in a medium organization.
