Job Description
Job Overview:
This is a temporary, hybrid role for a WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Associate based in Dikwa, with some flexibility for remote work. The WASH Associate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring WASH programs to ensure access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Key tasks include field assessments, community engagement, resource mobilization, project planning, and reporting. The role also involves providing technical support, conducting training sessions, and ensuring all activities comply with organizational and donor standards.

Required Qualifications:
Expertise in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programming, including project planning, implementation, and monitoring. Community engagement, resource mobilization, and teamwork skills to effectively work with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and analysis for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Strong communication and facilitation skills to conduct training and increase community awareness of WASH practices. Familiarity with humanitarian program guidelines, particularly in the context of rural or underserved areas. Proven ability to adapt to challenging field conditions and work independently as well as collaboratively.

Educational Background:
A degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
Experience with non-profit or humanitarian organizations is a significant advantage.

Languages:
Proficiency in relevant local languages is a plus.
