Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Mechanical and Electrical Engineers for a full-time, on-site role based in Abeokuta. The candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and inspecting mechanical and electrical systems related to school building projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Day-to-day tasks will include developing and reviewing mechanical and electrical designs, conducting site inspections, ensuring systems meet safety and quality standards, and providing technical expertise in project execution. The role requires close collaboration with project teams, local community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of system operations and design principles. Ability to work with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating and reviewing technical schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years experience on a largescale construction site project for both positions. Experience in infrastructure or construction, particularly in challenging environments, is a plus.

Professional certification or licensure in engineering is an advantage. Familiarity with automotive systems or similar industrial applications is preferred.
