Job Overview: The Stock Clerk 3 (Camera Room) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of stock records through detailed monitoring, verification, and investigation processes, focusing primarily on camera surveillance to validate stock movements and identify discrepancies.
Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and review stock movements by comparing system records with camera footage to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. Investigate inconsistencies between system data, documentation, gate activity, and camera footage; conduct root cause analysis and resolve variances. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all reconciliation activities, including findings, corrective actions, and adjustments. Generate comprehensive reports on outbound stock movements based on camera footage. Investigate and resolve stock-related queries by cross-referencing system records with video evidence. Perform random checks on full loads using camera surveillance to ensure compliance with loading procedures and accuracy of stock dispatch. Manage and organise camera footage to ensure efficient retrieval for audits, investigations, and reporting purposes. Ensure stock handling processes comply with company standards and identify any irregular or non-compliant activities. Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety standards. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and coaching initiatives. Support team objectives and contribute to the overall success of the operation.
Required Qualifications: Grade 12 / Matric (essential), Computer literacy (MS Office, especially Excel), Ability to read, write and communicate in English, Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehousing and logistics, preferably within the FMCG industry, Experience in the security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security or surveillance environment is advantageous.
