Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager (GM) to lead the operations, business growth, and brand positioning of a fast-growing fashion house in Abuja.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute business strategies to drive profitability and sustainable growth. Lead the overall operations of the fashion house, ensuring smooth day-to-day management. Identify business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives. Drive organizational performance and ensure achievement of revenue targets. Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to strengthen brand awareness and market presence. Oversee digital marketing, social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, PR activities, and brand partnerships. Ensure consistent brand positioning across all customer touchpoints. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to guide marketing initiatives. Create strategies that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and overall customer experience. Oversee retail/store operations, production coordination, inventory management, and customer service standards. Ensure operational efficiency and implementation of best practices across departments. Monitor business performance metrics and prepare management reports. Implement systems and structures to improve productivity and operational effectiveness. Manage budgets, financial planning, and cost control measures. Drive sales performance and profitability across all business units. Collaborate with finance teams to monitor revenue growth and business performance. Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, retail, and customer service teams. Build a high-performance culture focused on excellence, creativity, and accountability. Support talent development and employee engagement initiatives.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Fashion Management, or related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
