Videographer (Volunteer)

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Videographer will be responsible for video production processes, including camera operation, shooting, and lighting setup to create high-quality visual content that aligns with the team’s mission and activities. The role is on-site and based in Portharcourt, requiring hands-on collaboration with team members during events and projects to capture compelling footage and tell impactful stories.

Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in video shooting using DSLR cameras or high-quality mobile devices, strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut, good understanding of lighting, framing, sound, and storytelling techniques, ability to produce engaging short-form and long-form video content, experience covering live events, interviews, and documentary-style content, ability to work under pressure and capture key moments in fast-paced settings, basic motion graphics or animation skills is an added advantage, strong organisational skills in managing footage and meeting delivery timelines, interest in storytelling that drives social impact and community engagement, ability to collaborate effectively with a team and work on-site in Portharcourt, creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling, previous experience in community-focused projects or working with non-profits is a plus.
