Job Overview: The Child Protection Assistant will be responsible for implementing and supervising activities at the sites, supporting in training of community structures, conducting case management to vulnerable children, facilitating group psychosocial-support" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">psychosocial support for children and adolescents, and working closely with community-based structures to monitor and implement program activities.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure vulnerability assessments are conducted for all identified and referred cases, ensure quality case management, coordinate with governmental agencies, develop activity schedules and reports, ensure data protection principles are followed, coordinate communication and support for children and families, develop engagement activities, ensure regular communication with the CP manager, provide guidance on SHLS activities, conduct service mapping, ensure monthly child protection monitoring, support parents and caregivers, and manage staff performance.
Required Qualifications: A minimum qualification of a degree or HND in Social work, Psychology, Education, or any other social sciences.
Educational Background: Degree or HND in Social work, Psychology, Education, or any other social sciences.
Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in implementing child protection programs in humanitarian or development settings.
Languages: Fluency in English required and in Hausa preferred.
