Job Description
Job Overview:
The Director Schools is responsible for the performance management of every school in the territory or program, ensuring integrated delivery of all programming, academic programming, staff professional development, and community engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the success of schools in your territory, ensuring excellence in School Management metrics, meeting learning outcome targets, and building community engagement. Manage direct reporting lines, use data to ensure robust academic programming, observe teaching and management in schools, support school events, ensure regulatory compliance, and facilitate professional development for Supervisors.
Required Qualifications:
Proven management and leadership experience, experience managing field-based teams, belief in data-driven decision making, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Educational Background:
Undergraduate degree (or its equivalent) or Masters degree
Experience:
Proven management and leadership experience, school management experience is a plus.
Languages:
Fluency in English and Hausa preferred
Additional Notes:
Flexible and loves to work in a dynamic environment, collaborative leader with strong relationship building skills.
