Job Description
Job Overview:
As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will act as the on-site technical leader, responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of aero-derivative gas turbine control systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead on-site commissioning, maintenance, and servicing activities for gas turbine control systems and associated equipment. Ensure all work is executed in line with OEM specifications, company procedures, and quality standards. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently, using advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills. Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and system documentation to support maintenance and problem-solving. Monitor project execution, identify risks (e.g. abnormal vibrations, safety issues), and implement corrective actions proactively. Ensure availability of materials, tools, and resources required for successful project delivery. Maintain accurate and timely reporting, including service reports, equipment history, and operational feedback. Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer representatives to ensure alignment and transparency. Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, personnel, and logistics for routine and major interventions. Support operations and maintenance teams during high workload periods. Promote and enforce Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, driving a strong zero-harm culture.

Required Qualifications:
Strong technical expertise in gas turbine controls (primary expertise), mechanical systems (supporting knowledge), and rotating equipment packages. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Proven experience in onshore and offshore environments (mandatory). Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and technical software tools. Deep understanding of aero-derivative gas turbine systems and operations is a strong advantage.

Educational Background:
Engineering degree, preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

Experience:
8–10+ years of experience in gas turbine control systems.
