Job Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead complex initiatives, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure successful project execution from initiation to close.
Duties and Responsibilities: Create and maintain a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with task dependencies, critical path analysis, and resource leveling. Establish and enforce baseline management for scope, schedule, and cost; strictly manage variances through formal change control processes. Act as the primary escalation point for team conflicts, shift scheduling issues, or equipment failures. Manage onsite resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, materials, and shared facilities to prevent under-utilization or over-evaluation. Map and monitor all internal and external discrepancies; run weekly dependency alignment meetings with adjacent project leads. Maintain a live Risk Register with quantitative (probability/impact) and qualitative scoring; update mitigation triggers weekly. Review and approve onsite purchase requisitions, vendor invoices, and expense reports against project budget codes. Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timeline. Define acceptance criteria, inspection checkpoints, and testing/validation procedures. Physically inspect work areas to verify safety, quality, and schedule adherence; issue real-time corrective instructions. Coordinate with facilities management for workspace contingencies (power outages, internet disruptions, emergency response).
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master’s or PMP/PRINCE 2 is an added advantage). Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a relevant industry. Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. Proficiency with project management software (Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, MS Project). Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment. PMP, CAPM, CSM, or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master’s or PMP/PRINCE 2 is an added advantage).
