Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced, analytically sharp Supply ChainOperations Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain activities across the Group. This role ensures raw material availability, production continuity, efficient warehousing, and reliable finished goods delivery all within a complex, multi-line agro-industrial environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Translate the Group's seasonal production plan into executable supply chain schedules across all 10 lines. Work directly with the Manufacturing & Production Council to align raw material inflows with line activation and production sequencing. Anticipate seasonal transitions and ensure smooth handoffs between high-intensity and low-intensity production periods. Flag supply constraints or demand signals that require production plan adjustments. Design and maintain inventory policies for raw materials, semi-processed intermediates, and finished goods across all product categories. Manage strategic buffer stocks for seasonal and long-distance commodities. Oversee warehousing operations for raw materials, packaging, intermediates, and finished goods. Manage inbound logistics for raw material deliveries and oversee outbound distribution of finished goods. Collaborate with the commercial team to translate sales forecasts and distribution plans into actionable supply schedules. Implement and manage supply chain KPIs and build reporting dashboards for senior leadership visibility. Ensure supply chain operations comply with GMP, HACCP, NAFDAC, SON, and applicable export standards. Work closely with Procurement on raw material forecasting and coordinate with Finance on working capital management.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (APICS CSCP, CILT, or equivalent) is an advantage. Minimum 5–10 years' experience in supply chain or operations management. Experience in food, beverage, agro-processing, or FMCG manufacturing is strongly preferred. Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems is a significant advantage. Familiarity with Nigerian agricultural commodity supply chains and logistics infrastructure.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5–10 years' experience in supply chain or operations management, preferably in food, beverage, agro-processing, or FMCG manufacturing.
Additional Notes: This is an Onsite role located in Uyo, AkwaIbom State.
