Job Overview: The National Communications Officer, Social Media will manage IOM Nigeria's social media assets, implement thematic campaigns, monitor reputational risks, and engage with online public discourse.
Duties and Responsibilities: Support daily management of social media platforms, assist in content publishing, monitor social media for mentions, assist in thematic campaigns, ensure ethical storytelling, monitor performance metrics, and coordinate with program teams.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience: Minimum of three years of professional experience in social media management, preferably within Nigeria.
Languages: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Nigerian languages is a strong asset.
Additional Notes: IOM has a zero-tolerance policy on conduct incompatible with the aims of the United Nations and IOM.
