Job Description
Job Overview:
Girl Effect is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager to lead financial management and oversee administration and procurement for the Nigeria office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight of financial operations, ensure accuracy of financial records, oversee cash flow and treasury functions, lead budgeting and financial planning, manage donor compliance, oversee procurement processes, and provide leadership to the Finance and Operations Specialist.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Fully qualified accountant (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent); At least 7 years' progressive post-qualification financial management experience; Experience managing donor-funded programs; Strong financial planning and analytical skills; Advanced Excel proficiency.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
Experience:
At least 7 years' progressive post-qualification financial management experience ideally within the nonprofit, international development or audit sectors.
Languages:
English
