Construction Project Manager

Job Overview:
The Client intends to undertake a construction project involving civil work and building infrastructure such as roads, drainage systems, residential/commercial buildings, or public facilities. A competent Manager is required to oversee planning, execution, and completion of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include reviewing designs, developing project execution plans, supervising site activities, ensuring adherence to specifications, monitoring quality, managing subcontractors, tracking project progress, conducting site meetings, overseeing testing and commissioning, and preparing final reports.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Building Engineering, or related field; minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction project management; professional certification such as PMP; registration with relevant Nigerian professional bodies.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Building Engineering, or related field

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction project management

Languages:
English

Additional Notes:
Full Time - 9 to 5; strong knowledge of construction methods and materials; proficiency in project management tools; contract management and negotiation skills; leadership and team management; financial and cost control expertise; knowledge of Nigerian building codes and procurement processes.
