Job Description
Job Overview:
Own the core technical architecture and build the operational and financial platform for open-source collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Own and evolve the core platform — improving architecture, scaling infrastructure, and shipping new product features. Continuously improve our code review system. Lead discussions and implementation of ongoing features. Collaborate on our technical vision. Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team.
Required Qualifications:
You've shipped products end-to-end, solo or as the primary builder. Proficiency across the stack: backend (Node.js) and frontend (Next.js) all using Typescript. An ability to think through feature requirements and come up with high-impact ways to quickly implement them. Experience with Rust and smart contracts is a plus.
Additional Notes:
5% equity that will be vested across 4 years. Hybrid working arrangement based in Abuja, Nigeria. Please note that this role is BYOD (bring your own device); company hardware is not provided at this stage.
