Job Description
Job Overview:
Mercy Corps is looking for a Deputy Program Manager-WASH who will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, implementation, and monitoring of the WASH component in Yobe state.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the implementation of WASH program across Damaturu, Gujba, Gulani, and Tarmua LGAs, develop activity work plans, conduct quality control visits, analyze assessment data, prepare project designs, assist procurement team, conduct regular monitoring, promote community involvement, perform final inspections, establish reporting systems, and ensure adherence to MC policies.

Required Qualifications:
Degree or a HND in Civil, Water Engineering, Geology or Environmental Health Sciences, at least 7 years of relevant experience, excellent skills in WASH project assessment and supervision, proven ability to lead a team, experience in water supply systems, and knowledge of humanitarian principles.

Educational Background:
Degree or a HND in Civil, Water Engineering, Geology or Environmental Health Sciences.

Experience:
At least 7 years of relevant experience plus 1 year or more in a supervisory or team leadership position, preferably with an international NGO.

Languages:
Ability to communicate in English and Hausa.
