Job Overview:
This is an on-site internship role based in Lagos for a Retail Sales Intern. The Retail Sales Intern will assist in promoting products, engaging with customers, and driving sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include maintaining optimal in-store displays, conducting market research, assisting with inventory management, and supporting sales strategies to achieve business objectives. The intern will also contribute to creating a positive customer experience on the store floor while gaining valuable hands-on industry experience.
Required Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills; Basic knowledge of retail operations and sales techniques; Ability to conduct market research and analyze customer trends; Organizational skills with attention to detail and inventory management; Enthusiasm for the retail sector and willingness to learn and grow; Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
Educational Background:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
Previous experience in retail or sales is a plus but not mandatory.
