Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business DevelopmentIntern to join our team within the HR consulting space. The ideal candidate will support sales and business development initiatives by identifying potential clients, generating leads, and promoting HR consulting services to organizations across various sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and research potential client organizations requiring HR consulting, recruitment, outsourcing, or workforce solutions. Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking. Support the execution of business development strategies to grow the client base. Schedule and coordinate meetings, presentations, and consultations with prospective clients. Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client-facing documentation. Maintain and update client/prospect records using CRM tools or internal databases. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target sectors. Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and move opportunities through the sales pipeline. Collaborate with internal recruitment and consulting teams to align client needs with service offerings. Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and performance updates. Represent the company professionally in all client engagements. Support marketing initiatives such as campaigns, events, and webinars.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Economics, or related field. 1 – 3 years' experience in an HR Consulting, Recruitment, or Professional Services firm (Mandatory). Proven exposure to sales, business development, or client-facing roles. Strong interest in consulting services, sales, and client acquisition. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong prospecting, research, and lead generation capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM knowledge is an added advantage. Highly motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and within a team.
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Economics, or related field
Experience: 1 – 3 years' experience in an HR Consulting, Recruitment, or Professional Services firm (Mandatory)
