Job Description
Job Overview:
Housing TV Africa is Africa’s first 24/7 television channel dedicated to housing and real estate, providing news coverage on real estate, mortgages, property, construction, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the HR department by developing and executing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition, overseeing employee relations, handling performance management, creating and maintaining HR policies, ensuring legal compliance, implementing training and development programs, and fostering a positive work culture.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in Human Resources Management, including recruitment, employee relations, and talent acquisition; proficiency in strategic HR planning, performance management, and policy development; strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements; ability to develop and implement training programs; experience in fostering a positive workplace culture.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications like SHRM-CP/PHR are a plus).
Experience:
Previous experience in the media or real estate industries is an advantage.
Additional Notes:
Proficient in HR software and technology tools.
