Job Overview:
The Chartered Accountant will oversee all financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, inventory accountability, compliance with tax regulations, and efficient financial management within an import/export trading environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliation; Oversee import/export financial documentation and cost tracking; Handle tax compliance; Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting; Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts; Maintain accurate financial records and documentation; Implement and monitor internal financial controls; Provide financial insights to management for business decisions; Ensure strict confidentiality of company financial information.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA certified); Strong accounting background; Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools; Strong inventory management experience; Computer literate and tech-savvy; Detail-oriented with high accuracy level; Calm, proactive; High integrity and confidentiality.
Educational Background:
B.Sc or HND in Accounting
Experience:
Minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification experience
