Job Description
Job Overview:
The Nursing Manager is responsible for providing operational and clinical leadership for all nursing and patient care services within the hospital, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient care delivery with medical staff and other healthcare professionals, ensure consistent delivery of quality nursing services, promote optimum patient relations, develop and monitor nurse duty rosters, enforce health and safety regulations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, plan and deliver training for nursing staff, participate in budget planning, and serve as the liaison between the Nursing Department and Hospital Management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing), valid RN/RM certification, and current practicing license. Master's degree in Nursing or related field is an advantage. Certification in healthcare leadership or patient safety is desirable.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) and valid RN/RM certification.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior nursing management or leadership role, preferably in a tertiary healthcare setting.
