Job Overview: The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that Ethica Resolve’s operations consistently meet client, regulatory, and internal compliance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct structured call audits across assigned campaigns, ensure agents adhere to client requirements, monitor alignment with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, identify compliance gaps, produce compliance reports, maintain audit trails, interpret client compliance requirements, support client audits, maintain compliance trackers, review customer complaints, support internal policy adherence, conduct compliance reviews, maintain risk registers, assist in customer journey reviews, support policy updates, identify control gaps, deliver compliance training, prepare compliance reports, escalate risks, and maintain compliance documentation.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised University, minimum of 3 years’ post-call to bar experience in Compliance, QA, Risk, or Audit roles, exposure to financial services or regulated environments, familiarity with UK-regulated collections environments, strong call auditing and QA capability, solid understanding of TCF and consumer protection principles, close attention to detail, excellent report writing skills, strong stakeholder management skills, risk-aware mindset, good Microsoft Excel capability, ability to work independently, demonstrates high integrity, shows sound judgment, collaborative but firm approach, strong ownership and follow-through.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised University.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ post-call to bar experience in Compliance, QA, Risk, or Audit roles.
Languages: English
Additional Notes: Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is an advantage.
