Job Overview:
We are searching for a Senior Accountant with the proven ability to deliver a variety of accounting and financial management services to support the Finance activities across all brand businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Post daily accounting entries based on transactions of the company; Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable; Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results; Analyze financial information and summarize financial status; Prepare monthly cashflows in accordance with the budgets; Prepare financial statements and produce a budget according to schedule; Assist with tax audits and tax returns; Coordinate and manage external audits to ensure compliance; Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields along with Formal Finance or Accountancy qualifications/certifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.). Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields along with Formal Finance or Accountancy qualifications/certifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.).
Experience:
Several years of experience in an accounting/finance function, ideally within a training/educational business environment. Experience working in a matrix organization.
Languages:
Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
Additional Notes:
Must have completed the compulsory 1-year NYSC or have an exemption certificate. A valid and up to date National Identity Card/NIMC slip is required upon commencement of this role.
