Job Overview: The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for sales performance across all channels in their assigned key cities in Nigeria, assisting the BDM in delivering the overall region’s sales objectives through effective channel management and deployment of distributor infrastructure/resources.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the co-ordination and implementation of the city investment strategy, develop sales fundamentals in the 3rd party sales team, ensure streamlined implementation of customer strategy at point of sales, support the 3rd party sales team in closing results gaps, act as the internal and external ‘city customer champion’, partner with distributor to develop distributor sales team, provide market development information.
Required Qualifications: 5 years’ experience in sales and in a wide range of FMCG functions, FMCG specialist in brand management, trade marketing, and category management, strong operational knowledge and experience with distributors and key accounts, excellent negotiation, analytical, and administration skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to build strong social relationships, good knowledge of sales fundamentals, excellent knowledge of distributor management.
Educational Background: Business/ Marketing-related Bachelors’ Degree from a reputable University.
Experience: 5 years’ experience in sales and in a wide range of FMCG functions with a recognized business.
Languages: Fluency in English
